This greyhound betting system review is an independent read of Trade Carefully’s published Dog Pound record. The public totals check out (+472 units to 31 August 2026). Almost all of that is 2025; the 2026 sample is in the red. The pack includes a BF Bot Manager file ready to import — we advertise it, we do not host it. You can start a 7-day BF Bot Manager free trial at any time.

I’m Stephane. I run BotBlog. Search greyhound betting system and you mostly get tips pages and “how to win” listicles — no frozen rule date, no losing months, no unit series. This piece is the opposite: original charts of one documented UK greyhound Betfair betting system, then a disclosed way to buy the vendor’s pack if that process is what you actually wanted.

What is a greyhound betting system?
In search, a greyhound betting system usually means frozen rules, a unit total, and an implied future income. The useful scientific question is narrower: what distribution generated this series, was the rule set frozen before the pretty part of the curve, and does the later sample still look like the earlier one?
This review is not a tipster card, not a “load this bot” walkthrough, and not betting advice. It is also not a substitute for the commercial pack. If you want the purchaser files, you buy them from Trade Carefully. If you copy a setting off a blog, you did not buy a product — and we will not help you do that.
How this review is different from typical “system” pages
Competing greyhound-system articles talk in generalities: form, value, bankroll, dutching. Fine as primers. They almost never show a dated, public, bet-counted series that is allowed to lose.
Trade Carefully’s Dog Pound record is useful because the vendor already publishes losing months, losing 300-bet cycles, a 79-observation losing run, and a large parent population that is allowed to lose. Our job is to chart that public table honestly — then send buyers to their checkout, not to a ZIP on BotBlog.
How we treated the data
We compared the public Dog Pound results page as at 31 August 2026 with the vendor’s own V1 checkpoint (2,100 observations, 5 August 2026). Charts below are aggregates of that public record: monthly totals, 300-observation cycles, and the shape of the published unit series. No race names, no selection lists, no CSV.
We did not audit exchange statements, so matching public arithmetic is not proof every row was a live matched Betfair order. We did not replicate the process on our own account. Gifted review access was used to check that the published totals are internally consistent — not to put purchaser files on the internet.
Greyhound betting system results: the public totals check out
On the public Dog Pound page to 31 August 2026:
| Public figure | Value (31 Aug 2026) |
|---|---|
| Observations | 2,150 |
| Units after 2% commission | +472.14 |
| Strike rate / average price | 10.37% / 12.66 |
| Longest losing run | 79 |
| Max drawdown | about −150 units |
| V1 lock (5 Aug 2026) | first 2,100 rows, +466.54 units |
Credit where it is due: this is cleaner than most greyhound “results” pages, which often show a graphic and no series.
The same public product page leads with a losing parent sample: 49,172 broader observations that lost about 1,350 units at that V1 checkpoint. That is the honest half of a Betfair betting-system claim, and it is already on their shop window. The marketed curve is a much narrower slice of similar dates — not a second, independent market. Segmenting a huge greyhound population until a cell looks interesting can be real structure. It can also be multiple testing.
Matching arithmetic is the start of a review, not the end. A true total can still be the wrong summary.
The equity curve: when the profit actually arrived

Figure 1. Cumulative units on the published Dog Pound series. The steep climb is 2025. The grey band is 2026. The dashed line is the published V1 lock. Source: BotBlog, public results.
Read left to right, not top-right. Almost all of the stored profit is in the first ten months. From January 2026 the path is a grind around a lower plateau — including a long drawdown — that still leaves the all-time number looking fine if you only quote the end point.
That is the oldest trick in a betting-system chart, and you do not need bad faith to fall for it. Early luck plus later selection of “what to keep” produces the same shape as a genuine, fading inefficiency.
2025 vs 2026: the live test is not the headline

Figure 2. Same public monthly series, split by calendar year. Source: BotBlog.
| Sample | Units (2% comm.) | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 (Mar–Dec, public months) | +532 | the mass of the +472 |
| 2026 (Jan–31 Aug, public months) | −60 | gives some of it back |
| All rows to 31 Aug 2026 | +472 | +22% on 2,150 observations |
If you arrived from a search for a greyhound betting strategy that “works”, stop on this table. The all-time yield is a weighted average of a strong year and a negative eight-month follow-through. Eight months at this strike rate is long enough to hurt, and still short enough that a recovery remains possible. It is not long enough to treat +472 as a production edge in September 2026.

Why 300-bet cycles beat calendar months
Greyhound cards do not reset on the first of the month. A high-price, low-strike series will print ugly calendar months inside a stable process, and pretty months inside a broken one. Fixed-length blocks are the less dishonest zoom level — which is why Trade Carefully already publishes them, and why we charted them anyway.

Figure 3. Cycles 1–4 made about +541 units. Cycles 5–7 gave about −75 back. Cycle 8 is 50 rows. Source: public cycle table, BotBlog chart.

Figure 4. Monthly bars match the public table. April 2026 is ugly. March 2025 is the outlier that still inflates the all-time number. Source: BotBlog.
In plain English: the mean is non-stationary. The first four blocks and the next three do not look like draws from the same machine. You can still argue variance. You cannot honestly argue that the 2025 mean is the thing to multiply by next year’s volume.
Rolling window: the late sample is a different distribution

Figure 5. Each point is only the previous 300 published rows. Once the window fills with 2026, the line spends a long time below zero. Source: BotBlog.
This is the chart I would tape above a “+22% ROI” pull-quote. Rolling P/L asks: if I had only been allowed to see the recent world, would I still believe the same story? From late 2025 onward, often no.
None of that proves the idea is dead. A ~10% strike rate at double-digit prices can look broken for months inside a longer-term edge. It does prove that anyone scaling the all-time unit total into a greyhound wage is answering a marketing question with a research series.
Drawdown: the 79-bet losing run is not a footnote

Figure 6. Distance below the running peak. Maximum about −150 units, matching the public headline. The 79-row losing run sits in the April 2026 hole. Source: BotBlog.
At a one-unit stake this is a chart. At a stake people secretly have in mind when they search greyhound betting systems, it is a behaviour test. Historical worst is not a cap. The next hole can be deeper. Any process that needs you not to “fix” the rules during 79 blanks is a research process, not a lifestyle.
The BF Bot Manager file — ready to import, not republished here
This is the practical bit if you already automate, or if you are about to start a trial: the Trade Carefully pack includes a Dog Pound BF Bot Manager file ready to import into the software. It is not a Python script and not a tipster CSV. You load it in BF Bot Manager the same way you would any other strategy file. A separate BFBM licence is required. The public results page says the live figures were generated with that software. Other tools or manual timing should not be expected to produce the same qualifiers.
We opened the supplied file for this review so we could confirm it exists and that it is an import-ready BF Bot Manager strategy.
We will not put the file on this website. We will not quote filters, prices, timing, stake, market names, or any reconstructed rule list. If you can rebuild the implementation from a blog post, we leaked the product we advertise. That is the line.
What we will say, because it helps you decide whether to buy the pack and/or start the software trial:
- Buy the pack → you get the Dog Pound file to import. Start the 7-day BF Bot Manager free trial at any time — before you buy, or after — then load the file in Simulation mode.
- It is not BotBlog’s own bot, and not the built-in Lay Trap 1 greyhound example that ships with BFBM.
- If you do import it, add your own session limits from our BFBM safety rules guide. Do not treat anyone else’s file as a wage.
- The only legitimate way to obtain that file is to purchase the Framework from Trade Carefully. We will not email it, mirror it, or “summarise the settings”.

What you actually pay for (public product list)
As listed on their Framework product page on 17 September 2026 — this is the shop window, not a dump of the contents:
| Item | On BotBlog? |
|---|---|
| Research Framework write-up | No — buy the pack |
| Master Collector dataset (purchaser archive) | No — buy the pack |
| Dog Pound dataset / live record | Public headlines charted here; full file is in the pack |
| Dog Pound BF Bot Manager file | No — buy the pack; import it in BFBM (7-day trial anytime) |
| Promised dataset updates | No — that is their product, not ours |
Price as at 17 September 2026: £48 on sale, £80 regular. Lifetime access means updates they actually publish, not a guarantee that greyhound racing or any piece of software lasts forever.
What the data is allowed to claim
Supported: the public Dog Pound arithmetic is internally consistent. The vendor is unusually willing to show a losing parent population, losing months, and losing cycles. Automation was used as a recorder, not as magic. Research-sized stakes are the only size that matches this variance.
Not supported: that a greyhound betting system with this all-time total is currently a production edge. That 2025’s mean will return. That statistical scores on a searched-for subset forecast the next 2,000 rows. That BotBlog has verified live exchange fills.
The usual scientific caveats still apply, and they are not small. Rows that share a meeting are clustered, so a simple t-score pretends you had more independent trials than you did. Segmenting a huge collector will manufacture pretty cells. Markets move. Frozen rules on 5 August 2026 are the start of an out-of-sample clock, not a trophy.
Who should buy — and who should skip
Buy the pack if you already think in units and frozen rules, you will stay at research size, and you want someone else’s documented collect → segment → reject example, including the files we will not reprint.
Skip the pack if you wanted a Betfair greyhound bot that pays a wage in 2026, if you do not use (and will not try) BF Bot Manager, or if you needed us to reprint the settings to make the sale.
Get the BFBM trial either way — you can start the 7-day free trial at any time, with or without the pack. Built-in greyhound examples and our greyhound guide do not require Trade Carefully.

Independent verdict
As a public results drop: unusually good. Losing parent sample, public monthly table, cycle table, drawdown, a dated lock. That is how adults document a high-variance series.
As a greyhound betting system you could treat as current: not supported by the 2026 sample. The all-time unit total is real on the public page and concentrated before the year most readers will actually live in.
As a product we advertise: buy it on their site if the process is the point. Do not expect BotBlog to hand you the pack, the sheets, or the bot file.
