Who reads BotBlog

Our audience is mostly UK-based exchange traders and people exploring automation. Typical readers are:

• Ladder traders on Geeks Toy, Traderline or Bet Angel
• People building rule-based bots in BF Bot Manager (football, horses, greyhounds, tennis)
• Tennis traders using the free Tennis Trader Board and Live Tennis API guides
• Readers who want data before they trust a system — horse racing statistics, football statistics, and Ask Bob backtesting

Traffic is organic. They come for honest comparisons, how-to guides, and browser calculators with no signup.

Ways to collaborate

Software, ladders and automation

If you make Betfair trading software (including BF Bot Manager, ladders such as Traderline or Geeks Toy, or a VPS for bots), we are open to:

• Honest reviews — we test in practice / simulation or live where appropriate and publish what we find, including limits.
• Strategy guides — how your product fits a market (football, horses, greyhounds, tennis).
• Affiliate relationships — we already run programmes (including BF Bot Manager). See our affiliate disclaimer. A reader discount or unique code helps. No affiliate ID is not a blocker for an editorial review.

We do not accept payment for positive coverage. Gifted licences are disclosed. The verdict stays ours.

Market data and live scores

Complementary feeds belong here too — live tennis scores, WebSockets, model win %, historical tapes. Live Tennis API is an example: we run a free board on our side, write how-tos, and use a disclosed affiliate link plus a reader code.

• Tell us the exact product (plan name, docs URL), not only the company homepage.
• Complimentary access for testing is welcome and will be disclosed.
• Open-source samples and GitHub repos are useful; we will not publish your API keys.

Research packs, datasets and BFBM files

We will look at a research framework or dataset if readers who automate on Betfair could learn from the process — collecting evidence, variance, how a bot file is built. That is not the same as promoting a tipster system.

To get past a first look we need the real pack, not a brochure:

• The dataset or bet-by-bet record (CSV or equivalent), not only a summary PDF
• The BF Bot Manager file or rules, if that is part of the product
• When the rules were frozen, and results after that date
• Affiliate terms if you want us to send buyers (we will name a rate if we take it on)
• A dofollow in-content link on a real page of yours, if you want a mention on BotBlog in return — not a partners dump

Gifted access is disclosed. We will not lead a BotBlog article on a headline unit profit. If the files do not support the claim, we will say so or we will not publish. Example of that standard in print: the greyhound betting system / Dog Pound review.

Other sites and publications

Racing, data, and resource sites are welcome to cite BotBlog where it genuinely helps their reader. Please link a specific guide or tool (statistics, Ask Bob, a calculator, the tennis board, a BFBM how-to), as a normal in-content dofollow mention.

If you want us to write about you, name the exact tool or research page and send the URL. “Let’s support each other” or “link our homepages” is not enough.

We do not do arranged “you link, we link” swaps or partners-list trades. If a BotBlog piece later needs your work as a source, we will cite it then.

What to put in the email

Use the contact form and choose Advertising / partnership. A short note is fine if it includes:

• Your product or site URL
• What you want: review, how-to, affiliate, or a citation on your side
• The specific tool, plan, or article — not “whatever fits”
• Affiliate programme or reader discount, if you have one
• Review access to the full product (not only a teaser sample)

We aim to reply within two working days.

What we don’t offer

• Paid or undisclosed positive reviews
• Reciprocal link schemes, homepage swaps, or “link to us and we will link to you” pages
• Tipster services, signals, or managed accounts
• Coverage based only on a sales PDF or sample with no underlying data
• Guaranteed rankings or placement in comparison tables
